Police appeal after road crash

POLICE are appealing for information following a collision in Warrington.
It took place on Thursday, October 13, at 9.10pm on Brookfield Road at the junction with Maltmans Road in Lymm.
A 37-year-old cyclist was riding along Brookfield Road towards Davies Way when he was forced to brake sharply.
This resulted in him falling from his bike and sustaining a broken right arm and fractured elbow. He attended Warrington Hospital where he was treated for his injuries and later discharged.
It is believed that there was a silver Punto in the area at the time of the accident and police are urging the driver to come forward to assist with their enquiries.
Two other drivers stopped at the scene and police are also appealing for them to come forward.
