SEVEN parks and open spaces at Warrington were awarded Green Flags this summer and representatives enjoyed a celebration event at Walton Hall.
More than 80 people representing the parks enjoyed the event and collected the flags for their venues.
Awards went to Walton Gardens, Lymm Dam, Alexandra Park, Risley Moss, St Peters Park, Walton Crematorium and Burtonwood Cemetery.
The Green Flag Award Scheme has been recognising well managed, high quality green spaces since 1996.
