Homes refused
BOROUGH Council planners have rejected outline proposals for demolition of a former mental health residential home in Delenty Drive, Risley, Warrington to make way for 14 two bedroomed dwellings

Hospital lottery
ONE lucky winner picked up the £393 jackpot prize in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital. Winning numbers were 2, 4, 5 and 11.
A £25 consolation prize was awarded to a hospital visitor.

Morris dancing
THELWALL Morris Men will be performing traditional dances in Warrington, Stockton Heath and Lymm today (Saturday), accompanied by Morris dancers from all over the North West. They start at 10am in Warrington, arrive in Stockton Heath at 11.30am and will be in Lymm by 1pm.

Temporary chapel
PLANNING chiefs have renewed a temporary planning consent for a temporary chapel and link corridor at Warrington Hospital, adjacent to Daresbury and Burtonwood wings.

Office conversion
OFFICES in Wilson Patten Street, Warrington, can be converted in a house of multiple occupancy, planning chiefs have decided.
