Early hours arson attack

A NEW warning has been issued to people living in the White Street area of Warrington town centre after an arson attack in the early hours of today.
The blaze involved an old bed that had been abandoned in a bin storage area – and it was the latest in a series of fires involving bins and their contents near White Street.
Fire officers are concerned that property could be damaged or lives threatened.
They are asking householders not to leave bins or rubbish in vulnerable areas.
All the fires have occurred in the early hours of the morning – in this case shortly before 6am.
Police have already stepped up surveillance of thearea.
