Raid on fast food restaurant

DETECTIVES at Warrington are appealing today for witnesses after a robbery took place at a fast food restaurant in the town.
The raid was at the Pizza Hut on the Alban Retail Park at about 10.30pm last night (Sunday).
Two men, armed with a knife and a claw hammer, entered the premises, made threats to the three members of staff on duty and demanded access to the safe.
Afterwards, the men fled the scene on foot. No-one was hurst but the staff were left in a state of shock following their ordeal.
The offenders were both wearing dark clothing and balaclavas and both were about 5ft 10 inches tall and of medium build. They spoke with Warrington accents.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who may be able to assist the investigation.
