WARRINGTON Town’s proposed F.A Cup clash at Bamber Bridge today has been called off due to torrential rain in the Preston area which has waterlogged the pitch.
It is the second time this season the Iron Gate pitch has been flooded. The game has now been rescheduled for Tuesday evening, kick off 7.45pm.
This means Warrington’s proposed Cheshire Cup clash away at Runcorn will now have to be re-scheduled.
Should Tuesday night’s re-arranged FA Cup match end in a draw after 90 minutes the replay will be at Cantilever Park the following Tuesday.
Next Saturday Warrington are due back in league action away at Garforth. A coach will be running from the ground for supporters.
