Morley returns to face Giant test

WARRINGTON Wolves’ captain fantastic Adrian Morley looks set to return for Friday’s play-off clash against Huddersfield Giants this Friday, kick off 8pm.
Morley has been named in the 19 man squad after undergoing minor eye-surgery to tighten a muscle behind his eye ball after his victorious return against Wigan.
But there is still no place for Prop Paul Wood who injured his back in training a fortnight ago. Propr Garreth Carvell is clear to play after he was found to have no case to answer after being put on report at Hull KR last weekend.
Victory would ensure Warrington have a weeks rest, followed by a choice of opponent in the play-off semi-final eliminator.
But Head of Coaching Tony Smith expects a tough test from hsi fromer club, Fourth-placed Huddersfield, who have beaten the Wolves twice this season, with Wolves winning one.
Smith said: “The Giants have been a very good team all year. We’ve had some tough tussles with them over the last couple of years, we’ll seem to get the wood on them and then they’ll get the wood on us. It’s been an exciting couple of years every time we’ve played them and I’ve got no doubt that it will be similar on Friday. They knocked us out last year but we’d like to think we’re in a lot better position now and have learnt a lot since then.”
