WARRINGTON Town have placed their talented teenage midfielder Sam Finley on the transfer list and are open to offers.
Explaining his decision to place 19-year-old Finley on the transfer list Manager Joey Dunn said: ” Despite the best efforts of the club Sam does not want to play for the club and wants to leave. So as a manager I will have to make the decisions that ensure the clubs integrity and progress going forward.”
Finley, who is contracted to Warrington, missed the start of the season while he served a three match ban.
Although he was a member of the squad for the FA Cup victory at Prescot Cables he did not take part in the game so is not cup tied.
All Northern Premier League and Northern Conference teams have been made aware of his availability and Warrington say they are open to offers.
Finley joined Warrington on loan from Southport two seasons ago and was placed on contract last season as he was seen as a talent for the future.

Be sad to see Sam leave, if he does actually go, A more tenacious midfielder you will not meet, but also a driving force in our engine room, be a sad loss, but I’m sure Joey has someone lined up as a replacement.
Very sad, but no one player is bigger than the club. If he doesn’t want to be there, replace him. That’s what they do at the top teams.
