Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 7, 12, 13 and 15. No-one claimed the jackpot prize which will be rolled over to next week. A £25 consolation prize was won by a member of hospital staff.

Conservatory plan
PLANS for a conservatory at the side of Three Acres Farm, Warrington Road, Glazebury have been given the go-ahead by borough council planning chiefs.

Flower festival
A FLOWER festival is to be held at St Cross Church, Appleton Thorn on September 10-12 as part of the church’s 125th anniversary celebrations. Light refreshments will be available.

Beauty treatment
AN extension to an existing solarium at Ivy House, Egerton Street, Stockton Heath has been approved by Warrington planners for the purpose of providing a beauty treatment room.

Dog challenge
A ONE-mile dog walk challenge for owners and pets is planned by Warrington Disability Partnership at Woolston Park on September 18. Various prizes will be awarded and the event is in aid of the charity.
