Appeal after man attacked in bar

POLICE today appealed for witnesses of an assault on a man in a Warrington bar.
The victim suffered a broken nose in the unprovoked attack in the toilets at the 53 Degrees bar on Bridge Street at about 2.30am on Wednesday, August 17.
Five or six men attacked the 21-year-old as he walked into the toilets, punching and kicking him to the body.
The victim suffered bruising to the body and a broken nose as a result of the assault.
Anyone who witnessed the attack is asked to call Cheshire Police on 0845 458 0000 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
