Police appeal after robbery

POLICE at Warrington today issued an appeal for information following a robbery at a town centre store.
The robbery was at the Farm Foods store on School Brow at about 8pm on Thursday, August 11.
Three men, all with their faces covered, forced their way into the store as a member of staff was trying to lock-up at closing time.
Once inside the store, the offenders, who were armed with a metal bar and a crow bar, forced two members of staff into a back office where the safe was.
They stole a substantial amount of money from the safe and fled the scene. A white combi style van was believed to be involved in the incident.
The three men were all between 5ft 7 inches and 5ft 9 inches tall, of medium build and spoke with strong Liverpool accents.
They were wearing dark, casual clothing and fluorescent jackets.
Police have issued CCTV pictures of one of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.
