Art group's trophy exhibition

GRAPPENHALL-based Warrington Art Group will hold its annual Trophy Exhibition at Tatton Park, near Knutsford from August 27 to September 11.
It will be the eighth successive year for the exhibition which has become an established event at Tatton.
More than 30 Cheshire artists will be exhibiting and competing for the Jean Wild Cup for the best overall entry and the Edwin Allen Cup for the best interpretation of the special subject, “Forces of Nature”. Guest judge will be artist and art tutor Bee Morrison.
The “People’s Choice” competition, to be decided by the votes of visitors to the exhibition, will be sponsored by the Studio Art Gallery of Warrington, who have commissioned a special trophy from award-winning glass artist Mark Briggs.
Note: the exhibition is in the Knutsford Room in the Stableyard at Tatton but is closed on Monday, September 6.
