Stockton Heath Walking Day 2011

1

THE annual Stockton Heath Walking Day was blessed with glorious sunshine as hundreds of people representing local churches paraded through the village for their annual walk of witness.
Hundreds more lined the streets to watch the traditional event as people of all ages walked together representing the various churches in and around the area.
They were joined by various marching bands including the Cheshire Police Band who led the walk for the first time.
Prior to the walk the various churches joined in song and prayer on Alexandra Park before setting off on their walk of witness through the village.
