FOLLOWING a major refurbishment programme a Warrington community centre is opening its doors for a day of fun activities.
Woolston Neighbourhood Hub, Hall Road, is inviting people to enjoy a range of free activities from 10am to 2pm on Sunday July 17.
Activities include tai chi, aqua-zumba, water polo, squash, body-zorbing as well as displays by the fire service and police who will be on hand with safety advice.
Cllr Kate Hannon, the borough council’s executive member for leisure, community and culture, said: “If you have yet to visit the neighbourhood hub this is a great opportunity to go along and see what’s on offer. The facility really is an asset to the community.”
