Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 2, 8, 10 and 11 – but no-one claimed the jackpot prize which will be rolled over to next week. A £25 consolation prize was won by a member of hospital staff.

Extension refused
PLANNING chiefs at Warrington have refused permission for a single storey extension, including two integral garages, at a house in Chapel Lane, Burtonwood.

Appeal victory
A HOUSEHOLDER in Brownhill Drive, Padgate, Warrington has won a planning battle to build a rear conservatory at his home. Borough planners rejected his application but an independent planning inspector has allowed his appeal.

Disabled ramp
PROPOSALS for a disabled access ramp at the Baptist Church in Loushers Lane, Warrington have been approved by borough planning chiefs.
