A QUIET month was reported by police at Stockton Heath with just 20 incidents in the 31 days of May.
Police Community Support Officer Ben Blandford told the parish council there were 13 crimes reported during the month including three burglaries, two thefts from motor vehicles and four thefts from properties, including pubs.
In addition, there were seven incidents of anti-social behaviour including parking complaints, “egging” a car, a fight in a pub and four men behaving in a rowdy manner.
“One of the burglaries was at a shed where they had a good rummage round. But the shed was so untidy that the owner didn’t know whether anything had been taken,” he said.
Another incident involved theft from a Stockton Heath shop, but luckily for the store PCSO Blandford was on the premises at the time.
He said: “Just 20 incidents in 31 days – you cannot say fairer than that.”
