Wolves squad unscathed

WARRINGTON Wolves’s Head Coach Tony Smith has named his 19 to face Salford on Sunday and breathed a huge sigh of relief when most of his team came through unscathed as England lost out 16-12 in the Exiles match at Headingley.
The only doubt is Louis Anderson who was withdrawn from the Exiles team with a thigh strain.
Smith said: “It will be a big challenge for us this week. It’s one of those weeks where you have to roll your sleeves up and do your best. It’s not been ideal preparation but that’s also part of the challenge for us which we will look forward to. Salford will no doubt feel they are in a bit of form following their recent win and will see this as a game they can really challenge and for that reason we’ll be getting revved up for a big performance ourselves.”
Tyrone McCarthy and Lee Mitchell were both on stand-by to return from their respective loan spells at Wakefield and Harlequins should the side require them to play.
