Roof raiders grab cash

RAIDERS broke into a convenience store at Warrington by cutting a hole in the roof in the early hours of the morning.
They lowered themselves into the Spar shop in Dam Lane, Woolston, smashed open a cash machine and escaped with a five figure sum.
Police are investigating the rate which took place some time between 1am and 4am yesterday (Tuesday).
Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity at the time, or any local residents who may have seen or heard anyone behaving suspiciously.
