Police probe house fire

POLICE are investigating a fire at a house in Warrington last night.
The blaze was in the living room of a house in Cartwright Street, Whitecross. It was out by the time fire crews reached the scene, but firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a postive pressure fan to clear smoke from the premises.
The cause of the fire has not been revealed, but police are investigating the incident.
