Children invited to plant trees

CHILDREN and their families are invited to a seed planting event in a Warrington woodland to mark spring.
The Woodland Trust’s Woodland Communities Project is holding a series of events during the year in local woods in a bid to engage people with their environment.
As part of this Nature Detective Clubs, (NDC) are held for children and their families to explore their local woods. Activities are free, but must be booked, and are held indoors in bad weather.
A Seeds Plantation event is being held in Callands. The NDC meets on the first Saturday of the month between 10.30am and 12.30pm (meet at The Hoop and Mallet Pub, Callands Road).
