School gets fresh new look

A LYMM primary school is being given a fresh new look in time for the new school year in September.
Warrington Borough Council has engaged local building contractor Globe Management Services Ltd for the extension of Ravenbank Primary School.
The school will continue its expansion to two-form entry – 60 pupils per year group – initially with a new reception unit and hall extension. Facilities at the school will be improved and refurbished.
The building contract will provide new classrooms, together with traffic calming measures and a dedicated turning circle on Pepper Street.
Head teacher Joe Lawless said: “I am delighted that these plans are going ahead and will be completed in time to welcome our new pupils. I am confident the refurbishment will enhance the enjoyment and achievements of the school for both children and staff.”
