PARK rangers are organising Easter activities at Birchwood Forest Park, Warrington on Monday, including egg rolling and egg painting.

Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 3, 8, 11 and 14 – but the jackpot prize went unclaimed. A consolation prize of £25 was awarded to a member of hospital staff.

Police chairman
MARGARET Ollerenshaw has been unanimously elected chairman of Cheshire Police Authority for the third year running.

Music festival.
A MUSIC festival featuring six bands will take place in the grounds of Cotebrook House, Oughtrington Lane, Lymm on the May Day bank holiday.

Shops plan
PLANS for a restaurant, shop, offices and hot food takeaway on land in Knutsford Road, Latchford have been submitted to Warrington planning chiefs. The site, currently a car park, is at the rear of Slater Street.

Church funds
A NEW bid to raise funds to reapir the roof at St Oswald’s Church, Winwick – damaged by Deathwatch Beetle – will be a home-made cake stall on the first Sunday of each month, starting on May 1.
