Robbery at social club

POLICE today issued an appeal for help from the public following a robbery at a Warrington social club.
Cash was stolen from the Grange Social Club, Grange Avenue, Latchford just before midnight on Saturday (April 16).
Two men forced the steward back inside the club as he was closing up.
They stole cash and then left, locking the 48-year-old man inside. He was not injured.
The offenders were both wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered with scarves.
Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 0845 458 0000 or alternatively contact the Crimestoppers hotline anonymously on 0800 555 111.
