E-fit picture of street attacker

POLICE at Warrington have released an e-fit picture of man suspected of pushing over a 67-year-old man, who suffered a fractured hip in the incident.
The assault was in Winwick Road, near the Prince of Wales pub, at about 4.35pm on Friday, April 1 where the victim was waiting to cross the road.
He shouted at the driver of a black Vauxhall Insignia car before crossing the road.
A short time later he was pushed from behind, and fell heavily to the ground near to the Prince of Wales.
When he looked up he saw the man who had been driving the Vauxhall running away towards Scotland Road and Horsemarket Street.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment for a fractured hip.
Detective Constable Angela Gardiner from Warrington CID said: “The victim has managed to help us produce a clear e-fit of the offender and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the man in the e-fit to call police.”
The offender is described as Asian, aged 30-35 years, of average build with dark receding hair. He was wearing a short cream jacket and light blue jeans.
