Search for town's poetry champion

THE search is on to find the next Warrington poetry champion – and the lucky winner will represent the town in the UK’s biggest annual poetry competition.
It is free to enter and the winning candidate will see their poem published in the National Poetry Anthology, while the overall competition winner will receive £1,000.
Peter Quinn, editor of the anthology, has high hopes that this year’s entries. “The National Poetry Anthology is designed to encourage new writers, it has rocketed in popularity and we expect the new one to be even better.”
To enter, send three unpublished poems on any subject (up to 25 lines – including blank lines – and 160 words each) to United Press Ltd, Admail 3735, London EC1B 1JB, or visit www.unitedpress.co.uk
Closing date for the competition is June 30th 2011.
