BURGLARS got away with jewellery with great sentimental value from a house at Warrington.
A family from the Lambs Lane area of Paddington are particularly distressed at the loss of an antique cameo brooch, a 1966 gold sovereign mounted on a chain and a gold locket bought during World War 2 by the householders late father.
The burglary took place some time between 4pm on March 12 and 10am on March 13.
Raiders forced a rear door and stolen the jewellery, a Toshiba laptop computer and various small electrical items.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone behaving suspiciously in the area at the time, or to anyone who has recently been offered any of the items.
They should contact DC Rob Horton at Warrington CID on 0845 458 0000 or call the confidential Crimestoppers hotline on 0800 555 111.
