Wolves support local heroes

WARRINGTON Wolves are showing their support for local heroes with a special new Armed Forces Charity Shirt, which will be worn in the Round 14 game against Castleford in May.
The new shirt, which pays homage to military desert camouflage worn by British troops will aid the Help for Heroes and 1 Mercian Regiment charities with a £5 donation from every shirt sold.
Following on from the fantastic response to the Charity Scarf the Wolves have launched this new kit in partnership with 1 Mercian Regiment and would like to extend their thanks to shirt and shorts sponsors Bensons for Beds, University of Chester, Claimant Law, Adele Carr Financial Recruitment, Warrington Fabrications and Enspec.
Dave Hutchinson, Wolves’ Sales and Marketing Controller, said: “Main club sponsor Bensons for Beds are already donating £500 each to both Help for Heroes and the Wolves Charitable Foundation for every game the Wolves win, so why not join in with your Warrington Wolves and support the very worthy cause.”
The shirt will also be worn in the Round 15 Engage Super League fixture against Leeds Rhinos on Friday May 27.
