Fairtrade fashion show

STUDENTS from Warrington Collegiate are staging a Fairtrade Fashion Show at the Winwick Road campus tonight.
An evening of music, fashion and fair-trade will raise money for the charity Fairtrade Foundation which works to empower producers in developing countries.
Bruce Crowther, Fairtrade towns co-ordinator from the charity will talk about the issues facing farmers and workers in the developing world.
College fashion students will be showcasing their talents with clothing lines and design collections fully inspired by sustainable, fairtrade and organic textiles. Hairdressing and beauty students will also be participating and creating catwalk looks to complement the clothing.
Along with performances by the music and drama students, local folk musicians Hannah Rigg and Adam Dunmore will also be pitching in and entertaining the audience.
