Traffic hold-up after crash

EMERGENCY services at Warrington were called to a road crash involving two vehicles.
The crash was in Grappenhall Road, Stockton Heath yesterday and fire appliances from Warrington and Stockton Heath attended.
No-one was trapped and fire crews helped police remove the vehicles from the road. The ambulance service was also at the scene.
Traffic was held up for a while after the crash.
In a separate incident, fire crews were called a disused recycling yard in Folly Lane, Bewsey where a quantity of rubbish was on fire.
Firefighters used hand appliances to extinguish the blaze which, it is suspected, had been started deliberately
