Man charged with murder

POLICE at Warrington have charged a 30-year-old man with murder, following the discovery of a 30 year old man at a house in the town.
Stephen Whittle, of Warrington, was charged earlier today (Sunday) and is due to appear before magistrates tomorrow.
Whittle and another man, aged 47, were arrested on Friday night after a man’s body was found at a house in Slater Street, Latchford.
The other man, who also lives locally, has been released without charge.
Police were called to the house in Slater Street, just before 10 p.m. on Friday where the body of a 45 year old local man was found.
A post mortem has confirmed that he died as a result of blunt force trauma.
Although police know the deceased man’s identity and his immediate family have been informed, they have no yet released his name.
