STUDENTS took part in a “Dragon’s Den” – style pitch during a Business Challenge Day at Priestley College, Warrington.
More than 100 AS Level business students packed the college’s theatre for the annual challenge.
They joined forces with representatives from McDonalds and Sapphire Education and Training to complete a range of set challenges and tasks.
Students were tested on their business knowledge with challenges including tackling business scenarios, new product development, market research and marketing.
Business tutor Julie McDonald said: “The yearly Business Challenge Day has become a key event in the Priestley calendar and once again this year proved no different with individual teams pitched against each other to raise the sense of competition.
“All the teams came up with some great ideas that were well received from our visitors from McDonalds and Sapphire Education and Training, who in turn were able to give them suitable feedback which will be invaluable for future projects.”
