School contracts
LIVERPOOL-based consulting and business services group Mouchel has won contracts with an estimated construction value of £8.6M to provide a range of building consultancy services for five primary schools in Warrington including Chapelford, Great Sankey and Ravenbank, Lymm.

Drainage scheme
PLANS for a new surface water outfall structure on Penketh Brook, to the south of the Sankey Canal, off Hall Nook, Penketh, have been approved by Warrington planning chiefs.

Cellar extension
A SINGLE storey extension to the beer cellar at The Star Inn, Star Lane, Lymm can go ahead, Warrington planners have decided.

Riding arena
AN indoor riding arena, with stables, storage, outdoor exercise area and covered horse walker are planned at Brook Farm, Manchester Road, Rixton, Warrington. Borough planning chiefs have given the go-ahead and the scheme will mean the removal of some existing buildings on the site.

Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 5, 6, 11 and 13. The jackpot prize went unclaimed and will be rolled-over to next week. A £25 consolation prize was awarded to a hospital visitor.
