THE parish councils at Stockton Heath and Walton are to get together to consider planting more trees in the area.
Walton councillor Bob Hardy – who lives in Stockton Heath – says his council have planted additional trees in verges in Walton which had brought about a big improvement in the appearance of the area.
He believed the two councils should work together to get more trees in both areas.
Stockton Heath councillors have agreed – and invited Cllr Hardy to attend a meeting of their Village Committee to discuss the matter further.
