Licence dodgers
MORE than 1,250 Warrington residents were caught watching television without a licence last year.

Office conversion
A PLAN to change the use of offices at Lymm Court, Eagle Brow, Lymm into a residential dwelling have been thrown out by planning chiefs at Warrington.

Home extensions
PLANS for two storey front and single storey rear extensions, with a new pitched roof and dormer window, at a house in Highwood Road, Appleton, have been given the go-ahead by Warrington planning chiefs.

Pre-School moves

CROFT Pre-School has moved home from the Memorial Hall to the Community Room at St Lewis Primary School in Mustard Lane. Opening hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8am to 3pm, and Tuesday and Friday 8am to 12 noon.

Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 3,5, 7 and 11. Two winners shared the jackpot prize of £226 equally and a £25 consolation prize went to a member of hospital staff.
