Gearing up for action

MEMBERS of Grappenhall Cricket Club are gearing up for their first season in the premier division of the Cheshire County League after winning promotion last term.
Indoor net practice starts on Monday, February 7 at Bridgewater High School and the club is looking for new players.
Former Lancashire all-rounder Steve Titchard will again by skippering the 1st XI.
The coming summer promises to be an eventful one. The 2nd XI also won promotion last year so all three senior sides will be playing at the highest possible level inn the county league structure.
The Broad Lane club also has a thriving junior section providing the foundation for future success and the club also has an Over 40s side playing in a competitive league so players of all ages will be welcome.
Senior net sessions are from 8-9.30pm.
