Family tribute to stab victim

THE family of a man who died after being stabbed at his home in Warrington have issued a statement paying tribute to him.
Robert David O’Raw, aged 50, of Bruche Heath Gardens, Padgate died after being stabbed in the chest on Sunday, December 19.
He leaves behind three children, two sons and a daughter, as well as three brothers and two sisters.
In their statement, the family said: “Robert was a loving and caring father who will be sadly missed by the whole family.”
Police were called to the house late on Sunday evening. They discovered Mr O’Raw with stab wounds.
He is believed to have died instantly.
A 36-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and is still in custody being questioned by detectives.
A post mortem has since concluded Robert died as a result of a single stab wound to the chest.
