A POPULAR Police Community Support Officer who is leaving Stockton Heath has been thanked for his work in the village by members of the Parish Council.
PCSO Peter Crellin (pictured) told the council he would be leaving after exactly six years in the job, to work in the Warrington Police traffic division.
He introduced his successor Ben Blandford, who has been a PCSO for a year and has previously covered the Appleton area.
PCSO Crellin said: “I have spent six years in the area and have received a lot of support from the parish council and public. There has been a lot of positive feedback.”
Chairman Coun Graham Roughsedge – himself a former police officer – said: “On behalf of the parish council and residents I would like to thank you for the work you have done.”
