Charity night raised £2,270

A CHARITY night held in Culcheth raised £2,270 for Claire House Children’s Hospice, Wirrall.
Culcheth and Glazebury Parish Council’s chairman’s Charity Night was organised by chairman Coun Helena Campbell and held in The Village Club/Royal British Legion.
Coun Campbell said the hospice costs £2 million a year to run and depends totally on fundraising events and public donations. A quarter of the beds are taken up by people from Warrington.
She thanked everyone who had supported the event and said a cheque for the amount raised had been given to the charity.
