Arson attack on car

POLICE at Warrington are investigating after an arsonist set fire to a car parked near the owner’s home during the night.
The Vauxhall Corsa, parked in an alley at the rear of Dudley Street, Warrington, was completely destroyed.
There was clear evidence that the fire had been started deliberately.
In a separate incident, fire crews were called to Morley Street, Warrington when a domestic wheely bin was set alight, endangering nearby property.
It was the latest in a string of similar acts of vandalism in the area and a close watch is now being kept at night.
Householders are being advised to keep their bins in secure positions, away from property.
