Town’s second business conference

THE second Warrington Business Conference is due to take place at the newly refurbished Parr Hall on Wednesday November 3.

Building on the success of last year’s event, speakers will include Peter Nears from Peel Holdings, Paul Hafren from Warrington Collegiate and Robert Davis from the Cheshire and Warrington Enterprise Commission.
During the afternoon delegates will take part in two workshops – one to discuss what support is needed now for the business community and the other to discuss what Warrington needs from its business community.
There will also be an opportunity to pose questions to the guest speakers.
Coun Ian Marks, leader of the borough council said: “We are extremely keen to meet with Warrington’s diverse business community. In the new political climate, it is increasingly important for the private and public sector to work closer together to generate jobs and prospects.”
Following the conference there will be an informal opportunity for networking.
The event is specifically aimed at those already based in the town or those who may be interested in moving to or operating out of Warrington.
The event is free but only two representatives from each organisation may attend to ensure a diverse mix of interests.
