Richy's gruelling challenge

WARRINGTON Town FC director Richy Sutton is embarking on a 10 mile cross country challenge with a difference “For those seeking an even tougher race!”
Richy (pictured right) has signed up for The Parachute Regiment challenge ‘P’ Company Cross Country Route to help raise funds for Help for Heroes, the parachute regiment and Warrington Town FC Academy.
It involves carrying a bergen (rucksack) weighing 35lb (excluding food water) and wearing military style boots. Competitors rucksacks are weighed before and after the race, by race officials.
As a guide the Paratroopers Company Selection cut off time is 1 hr 50 minutes!
Richy said: “All monies raised will be split between Help for Heroes, the parachute regiment charity and Warrington Town FC Academy. I would greatly appreciate any sponsorship to inspire me on this gruelling challenge.”
Richy will be taking the challenge, this Sunday, September 12 ay Catterick in North Yorkshire.
