UP-and-coming bands and artists from across the North West will be appearing at a two day festival at Warrington’s White Hart pub next month.
The White Fest will be held upstairs in “The White Room” on October 16-17.
Local favourites include The Back Up Plan, The Stocks and Parazali who are gaining a lot of exposure thanks to appearing on “BBC Introducing” and gaining the interest of a number of record labels.
Further afield, Cheshire band, “The Underground” are supporting popular band “Elliot Minor” in September and South Wales based pop punk band ‘GO-X’ have recently played with “You Me At Six”.
The Lottery Winners recently became winners of Live and Unsigned 2010, selected from 15,000 entrants.
Festival organiser is local music promoter and film maker Lee Harman, aged 22.
He sees it was an opportunity for local people to
enjoy a weekend of music in comfortable, welcoming surroundings and an opportunity for bands to play in the town and reach an new audience.
Downstairs, there will be a number of acoustic artists.
Anybody who would like to play can contact the organisers at [email protected]
