FUNDS raised by a beer festival in Warrington have been used to benefit a children’s project.
Warrington Rotary Club has donated £1,000 to the Sunshine and Rainbow Centre based at the Sandy Lane Children’s Centre, Orford.
Funds were raised at Warrington Beer Festival organised by the club, and will go towards improving the centre’s state of the art sensory unit. Club members recently visited the centre.
Maureen Banner, chairman of governors at the centre, said: “I would like to thank the Rotary Club for supporting the unit as funding like this helps so many young children in the town.”
