A WARRINGTON footpath will be closed for about three weeks to allow for footbridge repairs.
The closure, from Monday August 16, will affect footpath number 28, Burtonwood, from its junction with Chapel Lane to its junction with Sunningdale Close.
An alternative route will be via Chapel Lane, Colne Road, Cambourne Road, Melrose Avenue, Aldridge Drive, Sunningdale Close and vice versa.
The closure is to allow Warrington Borough Council to replace the timber footbridge over Phipps Brook.
