APPLETON Parish Council has pledged £500 to an appeal by the Friends of Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden to raise money towards the cost of regenerating the historic glasshouses.
Stockton Heath Parish Council has made a grant of £50 towards the appeal.
Total cost of restoring the glasshouses is expected to be more than £20,000.
