Putting the spotlight on Broadway

SPOTLIGHT Performing Arts will be back at Lowton Civic Hall this September putting on a Broadway extravaganza.
The production – which will include a number of people from the Culcheth area – aims to bring a bit of Broadway to the local area.
“Spotlight on Broadway” will include favourite songs from shows such as West Side Story, Miss Saigon, Wicked and Chicago.
It will take place September 15-17 and tickets are available from the group’s website www.spotlightperformingarts.org.uk or can be bought on the night.
Spotlight was set up in 1997 to engage young people and adults alike in producing musicals and drama within the local community.
Seventeen shows later the group, sponsored by the Methodist Church, is still going strong.
