Bethan crowned gala Queen

BETHAN McDermott aged 18 of Fowley Common Lane, Glazebury has been crowned Glazebury Gala Queen 2010.
She was crowned at All Saints Church following a procession through the village in a horse drawn carriage followed a range of activities including stalls and a funfair on the playing field at Glazebury CE Primary School.
Bethan’s retinue consisted of Caroline Davies and Samantha Davies, the petal girl was Heather Carnocan.
Page boys were Bradley Dean and Finlay Patterson.
As usual, retiring queen Hannah Weir also part in the event, accompanied by her retinue of Lucy O’Donaghue, Jenny Cleworth, Olivia Eckersley, Charlotte
Wild-Redmond, Nathan Glynn, Krishen Chadwick-Patel and Georgia-Anne Harris Moulton.
