Carol takes the plunge for charity

A BRAVE college tutor from Warrington took a 10,000 feet skydive to raise funds for charity.
Carol Chan, who teaches Public Services at Priestley College, also recently completed the Liverpool Half Marathon.
Her two challenges helped raise £750 to support the college’s own Mozambique Appeal.
The appeal has funded students to travel with Habitat for Humanity to Mozambique to build houses for children orphaned by AIDS.
Carol completed the jump in Cornwall and said it was an “exciting experience.”
She said:” A lot of planning and preparation has gone into the Mozambique project and I’m sure it will have a resounding impact on our students who will be experiencing a new culture and diverse country much different to our own.”
