Garden party
COUNCILLORS Keith and Sue Bland are holding a garden party at their h ome in Charnock Road, Culcheth, Warrington today (Saturday) with strawberry teas, tombola, raffle and games. The day is in aid of St Rocco’s Hospice.

Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 3, 7, 11 and 12 – but the jackpot prize went unclaimed and will be rolled-over to next week. A £25 consolation prize went to a member of hospital staff.

Girls’ football
A GIRLS’ soccer tournament is being held at Victoria Park, Warrington tomorrow for the 7-11 age group. The aim is to get girls not currently involved in a team to join with some of the Warrington Junior Football League clubs. Details: 01925 767541.

School reunion

Valley visit
VISITORS to Sankey Valley Park next Wednesday, July 14, can join park rangers in a search for dragon flies and other insects. The hunt starts at 1.30pm and details are available on 01925 571836.
