DETECTIVES in Warrington are appealing for help from the public after two young thugs robbed two schoolboys of their mountain bikes.
The two boys, aged 12 and 13, were cycling along Nook Lane, Fearnhead when they were approached by two older youths.
One of the youths pushed one of the boys off his bike, causing him to call into some bushes. The second youngster was also forced off his bike.
The two youths then rode off on the bikes.
One of the bikes was a black Silver Fox mountain bike, with a heavily scratched seat. The other was a black X-rated mountain bike, with a scratched frame and a broken front mud guard.
Police said one offender was aged between 15 and 16, very tall with shaved brown hair. He was wearing a yellow t-shirt and black trousers. He was carrying a black jacket over his arm.
The second offender was also aged 15-16 yrs and was wearing a black t-shirt and black trousers.
